Crossed one more thing off my bucket list. Had a bad night as well but could have been worse. I also finally finished planning for the senior project as well. I'm going to the doctors soon for health reasons so hopefully she can give me a sleeping pill/painkiller combo. Besides that, its just another average day in my life so to give back the minute I stole from your busy life, here's pictures I like.

Rain Rain Rain On My Mind I've Got A Secret Life
I am taking a creative writing class to hopefully stabilize my writer's block. The first exercise was to write six sentences about objects and stop after two minutes of writing. My friend thinks I have a gift with prose but I think its garbage. Enjoy reading my eloquent slop. And the nice picture of the guy and his umbrella. Hopefully it will rain today....
Its viridian shell hides her shallow self. The thick ridges on its back gives off the feeling of pride, yet it is used in many shameful ways. So many are lost, but this one will remained fixed as long as the sun stays out.

So many are lost, but this one will remained fixed as long as the sun stays out.Olfactory pleasing but physically unappealing, this crescent shaped behemoth breathes. Flying through the air while chasing its death, it soothes me. As long as distance is maintained, life is unchanged.
Obsidian and obscene, this object cannot project what I am conspiring about. Its lifeline is disconnected but not for long. Two semicircles will soon pulsate until the lights dim, and then will I really be awake.
Read while red, the cushion is stained by the tears. Almost like play-dough but rougher than a rock it shimmers under the fake fluorescent sun.
A mosaic of pebbles, intelligently designed by nature. The remains of a cataclysmic event involving the fateful meeting of its parents. So short the life of man.
A cylinder containing nothing but dust. There is a cursed air around it but its color says otherwise. A plethora of thorns decorate its roof. The stellar ceiling reflects off the cellar door.

I Knew The Years Would Move Quickly, But Never Quite As Fast As This
After receiving a couple of complaints, I have finally uploaded who the mysterious members of my family are. They are *drumroll* Sandra, (my mom) Zuleny, (my older sister in the navy top) Emily, (younger sister in the red dress) and Brenly (my younger brother). Hopefully these pictures capture their essence because if it was up to my sisters, they would not be able to choose. For those wondering, my dad lives in the Dominican Republic and I only have ancient pictures of him.
With My Feet On The Dash The World Doesn't Matter
Found a SD card this morning while searching for socks and decided to upload it. These pictures are from the summer when I went to Newport with my family so my mom could visit one of her friends. The trip sucked but the pictures were worth it; living in the city gets tiring eventually. We also went to a museum that day, most of the stuff inside was regal and whatnot.

Stability and Existentialism: Blacking Out The Friction?
Rough day today. What do you go home to? Yesterday was the end of midsemester for the seniors in my grade. I would be surprised if I am passing any class. My photography teacher helped me scan negatives of a Holga roll I took of some buildings. Those two or three minutes were probably the higlight of my day; no one asked for any missing work or if I was "ok" or anything. After school ended, I wanted to attend the Varsity Girls basketball championship game but I couldn't since I would have no ride "home". Skipping to today, I spent the day collecting my film, as well as taking more digital and another roll of black and white. I also saw the movie Up, easily making it on my list of favorite films; it was utterly depressing especially for a Pixar film. Numb and cold, this temporary life hopefully will change soon. Don't know why I'm writing but I'm afraid of what will happen if I don't. One day I will be able to look back at this and give myself a high-five. On a lighter note, I have been really liking digital art that has sections ranging from different spectrums.
Build God, Then We'll Talk: Robert Voit's Wonderful Caricature Of Intimacy
The ridiculousness of people never seems to astound me. Robert Voit, a German Photographer, documents cell tower trees. He does it in a way that makes a parody of it; cell tower trees are when the towers are dressed up to look like trees, so they blend in better with the surrounding environment. Or at least that's the intention. While few do a decent job at disguising them so they blend with the environment, most have been transformed into caricatures of the natural world. Voit photographs these said objects in a satirical form, which I enjoyed. These "Frankenpines" illustrate how insane the ideals of those with power in society are. Being raised catholic, these acts illustrate how man is trying to impersonate God. Even though I do not consider myself religious anymore, masquerading synthetic objects into that which is natural is manic to me. Even before I looked into his work, I despised the idea of having an artificial Christmas tree. There is also that factor of feeling guilty for destroying the beauty of nature, but then again we aren't really willing to do much about it. It is pointless trying to camouflage a cell tower when its existence is a necessary evil of modern life. Also, big ups for him including the nice sky candy for me to see.

Shooting down clouds cause he's thirsty for your smile...
I will be uploading more of my work soon, once I develop another roll I took of a forest as well as scan a few. I also submitted to the Marble Collection for the Spring Reading Period. This is my second time submitting and last time, they accepted both of my submissions. On another note, here are pictures that I love and one day aim to have myself.
